Directed by Leslie Chilcott, the short video stars Bill Gates (microsoft), Mark Zuckerberg (facebook), will.i.am, Chris Bosh (nba all-star) , Jack Dorsey (twitter), Tony Hsieh (zappos), Drew Houston (dropbox), Gabe Newell (valve-gaming), Ruchi Sanghvi (facebook), Elena Silenok (Clothia), Vanessa Hurst (codemontage), Bronwen Grimes (valve) and Hadi Partovi (dropbox and code.org).
The film also featured sports personality, Chris Bosh; a professional basketball player who talked about coding in his college days. Then there is will.i.am, the famous American recording artist and founder of the Black Eyed Peas (6.30min) who is also taking coding classes.
The real heroes behind the scene making programming happen in school are people like Mark from Mount View Elementary (6.54min) and Vanessa Hurst of Girl Develop IT (8:00min), a non-profit providing affordable and accessible programs for women who want to learn to code.
